The new OtterBox game accessories include a clip designed for Xbox controllers

As part of OtterBox’s CES 2021 ads, the consumer electronics company announced the first product line in its gaming portfolio, launched in mid-February with pre-orders starting on January 25. As part of a partnership with Xbox, OtterBox created a new line of gaming accessories aimed at mobile players. This includes a mobile game clip designed for the Xbox One, Series X / S and Elite wireless controllers.

The OtterBox mobile game clip costs $ 30 and includes a recognizable sturdy phone clip that extends if you are trying to put a larger phone or a bulky case inside. There are now other options for game clips, such as the $ 15 PowerA game clip, but what makes the OtterBox product interesting is that the clip can come off the controller and be used as a table stand, offering a little flexibility for those who want to play on the go or are playing at home.

As noted earlier, the clip is designed exclusively for Xbox wireless controllers. If you want to purchase other products from the OtterBox game line, the clip is compatible with the company’s other products.

OtterBox is also launching a gaming transport case, which is very similar, on the outside, to the controller bags available for the Razer Wolverine Ultimate and Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers.

For $ 45, the Otterbox gaming case includes a support for a fast rotating screen on top, which you can place your phone on and use as a command center while playing titles on cloud services like xCloud or other mobile games like offered by Apple Arcade. The case also includes a pass-through cable, so you can keep Xbox control connected via USB when you’re not using it.

Priced at $ 40, the new Easy Grip Controller Shell from OtterBox features an antimicrobial material that, according to the company, will keep your hands comfortable against sweat and offers non-slip grip performance. The shell also includes exchangeable handle pads for added comfort and comes in three colors (“dark web”, “dreamscape” and “galactic dream”).

The OtterBox is known for its durable covers and accessories and, along with the products mentioned above, the game line also includes a $ 55 Easy Grip game cover that offers durability and a non-slip grip compatible with the iPhone line. 12, iPhone 11 and 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE (second generation) and iPhone 7 and 8. OtterBox says the cover will also be available “soon” for selected Android devices.
