Nest Audio maintains the display of feature points from other Google smart speakers.
Chris Monroe / CNET
It’s only been a few months since we saw the new Google Nest Audio, a smart speaker that sits between Nest Mini and Home Max in Google’s hierarchy. Usually it costs $ 100, it is what is being sold everywhere, including Walmart and the Google Store. But now, you can save $ 20 and get the Google Nest audio for $ 80 at Best Buy.
The new Nest Audio is about 7 inches tall and, as it is fashionable today, it is wrapped in fabric in any of the five colors (chalk, charcoal, sand, sky and sage). There is a privacy button that mutes the microphone and can connect to other devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It looks better than the Google Home it is replacing, equipped with a 19 mm tweeter and a large medium 75 mm woofer. Overall, it is a noticeable improvement and has a good value of $ 80 (although there will inevitably be better deals at the end of the year, especially as we approach Black Friday 2021. For now, this is a good chance to get the latest smart speaker from Google at 20% off.
