The new Fallout 76 script runs through the rest of 2021

Bethesda launched the script for Fallout 76, by 2021, and it looks like there’s an interesting variety of content coming into the post-apocalyptic sandbox. Fans are looking forward to the upcoming spring update, which includes ways to quickly respec your character with SPECIAL uploads and multiple CAMP settings that players can easily switch between. Today’s Bethesda script gives us a good idea of what’s beyond, until 2022.

The summer will bring more content from the Brotherhood of Steel. The first update of the Brotherhood of Steel was a little small, but it served to establish the various branches of the Brotherhood. Steel Reign, the next campaign, will end this story with another single-player campaign. Summer is also set to bring Legendary modules, which allow players to create specific Legendary items instead of fighting RNG for the perfect launch.

Autumn will bring “an evolution to the private worlds”, although it is unclear what it means or how it is changing. Private Worlds are currently available with Fallout First, the game’s monthly subscription service. There will also be another expansion to the game’s daily trading system.

Finally, winter will bring legendary four-star weapons and armor, along with CAMP pets. Players have been playing with pets for some time using perks, but this is notoriously unreliable, and these pets have often met complicated ends or simply disappeared. It also looks like there will be two events, one against “Invaders from Beyond” and another event where players help cultists in Point Pleasant to perform a strange ritual.

Fallout 76 is currently available on the Game Pass for PC, console and via the cloud, which is an affordable way to experience the game. The campaign content, including Wastelanders, Steel Dawn and the upcoming Steel Reign are all free.
