Among usThe new airship map will be available on March 31 as part of a free update on the success of the social deduction game. The developer InnerSloth says that the airship map is the largest in the game, with new tasks and the ability to choose which room you start in.

The new update will also add what InnerSloth is calling a “preliminary” account system to help with moderation. The accounts have been underway for some time, and InnerSloth wanted to make sure to take the time to carefully implement them, according to a blog post.
“An adequate moderation system is extremely difficult and time consuming,” said the studio. “It’s not as easy as just having a ‘report’ button and having an algorithm banning someone after a certain number of reports.”
Perhaps most importantly, InnerSloth is also proving that there will be new free hats in the update. (Although I am not sure if I will change from the red hat, my personal favorite.)
Among us was first released in 2018, but exploded last year when people turned to gambling during the pandemic. (It is reported that about half a billion people played it in November.) The game became so popular that InnerSloth even canceled a sequel planned to focus on the original.
The game is currently available for PC, iOS, Android and Switch, with an Xbox port on the way later this year.
