The Nashville explosion causes AT&T disruption; EMS phones going down Tennessee, Kentucky

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) – An outage has affected telephone and Internet service for AT&T customers in Middle Tennessee and Kentucky, including EMS lines in the area.

AT&T confirmed that the drop is related to this morning’s explosion in downtown Nashville. NewsChannel 5 is receiving reports that coverage from AT&T and DirecTV is also being affected.

Several local law enforcement agencies reported interruptions and listed alternative numbers for residents to call in an emergency.
