The mother boxes depict DC heroes – / Movie

Zack Snyder's Justice League clip - Origins of the parent box

In less than a few weeks, we will finally have a chance to see Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Since then Joss WhedonThe disappointing version of the DC Comics superhero set arrived in the fall of 2017, fans have been demanding to see what the original cut of the film would be like if Zack Snyder had not stepped away from production. They will finally have their chance when the approximately four-hour cut of the film arrives at HBO Max in March, and a new clip is revealed this weekend.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League clip

Zack Snyder debuted the clip above during the IGN Fan Fest online this weekend. Named “The Mother Box Origins”, the sequence is entirely computer-animated, showing the story of the superheroes that make up the Justice League. Full of references to previous DC Comics movies with Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Bat Man (Ben Affleck), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Flash (Ezra Miller), the sequence is essentially the mother boxes taking the form of statues. It got kind of temperamental to have Tom Waits’s song “Time” playing throughout the sequence.

Even though this is a clip by Zack Snyder Justice League, it is not entirely clear how this fits in the film. It looks like a sequence of opening or closing credits, and that can end up being exactly what it is. The images are not clear enough to tell a story to those who have not seen Steel man, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, or Aquaman, so it’s not really something that could be used effectively to reach the general public about these characters. It only makes sense as a credit streak.

Zack Snyder said the following about the clip when it debuted this weekend:

“I scribbled it all down. There are a million Easter eggs in it, and if you look at the stories I’ve been working on, if the film had continued or if you look at the past stories, there are a lot of little details for everyone, ”he teased. “It’s worth taking a slow, time-consuming look at because it’s so much fun and I think for the fans it’s really a pleasure.”
