There’s another Samsung Unpacked event coming up on March 17th at 10am EDT, and no, we’re not expecting another flagship phone. Instead, rumors suggest that the brand will present the mid-range phone Samsung Galaxy A72 at the digital event, which will be broadcast in the Samsung press room and on the official YouTube page.
‘Mid-range’ may be selling less than the A72: rumors suggest that it will be a powerful device that should inherit even more from the main phones than its predecessor, Including the vaunted ‘Spatial Zoom’ capable of 30x magnification. This is impressive, given that the Galaxy A71 didn’t even have a telephoto lens.
Samsung did not say openly that the A72 would be the product unveiled – in fact, its invitation to the next Unpacked is very scarce in detail. But there are indications that the A72 will be the focus – that is, the name of the event (‘Samsung’s Galaxy Awesome Unpacked’) and the notable capitalization in the description of a line in the ad posting: “Join us on March 17th for Galaxy Awesome Unpacked to learn how Samsung Electronics is bringing Awesome to everyone.”
Judging by the rumors, the A72 would be incredible to be revealed.
Mid-range A72, main advantages
In addition to Space Zoom, these supposed major advantages that reach the A72 include specifications Upgrades as a 90 Hz refresh rate for the 6.7-inch AMOLED Full HD (2400 x 1080) screen with an on-screen fingerprint sensor, up to 256 GB of storage, a 5,000 mAh battery and a 3-inch headset , 5 mm.
This is at the top of the inherited specifications of the A71 that are still respectable in 2021: a 32 MP selfie camera and quad rear camera with 64 MP main sniper, 12 MP and 123 degree ultra wide FoV camera, 5 macro MP and 8 MP telephoto. The only downside we hear? It won’t have 5G – at least at the beginning, or that some regions can only get a 4G LTE version. We will have to wait until March 17 Unzipped to find out the truth.
