Following the impressive revelation of Caco, the Frog and Caitlyn Jenner, yesterday (March 24) episode of The masked singer finally revealed Raccoon’s celebrity identity.

After an interesting interpretation of Johnny Cash’s ‘Ring of Fire’, Raccoon was eliminated from the competition, leaving Russian Dolls, Robopine, Seashell and competitor Wildcard Orca to perform for another day.

Opening up about how he felt playing Raccoon, Danny Trejo said he felt “free” to “just play a Raccoon”, instead of maintaining his image of being a “tough” guy.

“It’s funny, but it doesn’t matter who you are – it’s like my screen image is tough, bad, no one to mess with,” he said. “But when you’re in that costume, it’s like none of this is you. A tough raccoon wouldn’t look good. So you’re free, and I could just play a raccoon.”

The masked singer USA airs on Fox, while its UK equivalent airs on ITV.
