The Mario update for Animal Crossing lets you recreate the Mushroom Kingdom

If you’re looking forward to adding Super Mario Bros. themed items for your island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons since they were provoked last month, the wait is almost over. Nintendo is adding a treasure trove of goodies based on the adventures of its brave plumber and his friends as part of a February 25 update.

The bonanza includes clothes, from Mario and Princess Peach costumes to Wario’s yellow and purple drip, and furniture ranging from super mushrooms to warp pipes that can be used to travel the archipelago. You can check out all the wealth of valuables in the store in the video below, which was part of yesterday’s Nintendo Direct festivities. Mario fans with eagle eyes should also be able to search the clip for coins, shells, stars, fire flowers, question blocks, goal posts and mushroom platforms. There are enough collectibles to help you recreate the Mushroom Kingdom.

As usual, as soon as you download the update, the new items will be available in the game through Nook Shopping, in this case from March 1st. Nintendo has regularly updated its tranquil island life simulator since its launch last spring, with previous additions, including scary Halloween items and a Carnival-themed backpack last month.

Ultimate fighters and viral success Fall Guys.
