  • T-Mobile inadvertently published specifications for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro before launch.
  • As expected, the screen and cameras make the difference – performance should be the same.
  • You will receive all the details on March 23.

You don’t have to wait until March 23 to get the official details for the OnePlus 9 series – T-Mobile spoiled part of the show in advance. The well-known leaker Evan Blass has uncovered that the operator posted (and quickly removed) support pages describing the main specifications of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro before its formal debut.

The slide of T-Mobile suggests once again that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be very different based on the camera and the display technology. The two American configurations reportedly use Snapdragon 888 chips, load from 8 GB to 12 GB of RAM and come with 128 GB to 256 GB of storage. They will also have 4,500 mAh batteries. If you’re just looking for a fast Android phone, either model should do the trick – although you don’t get advantages like dual SIM slots.

There will be reasons to choose OnePlus 9 Pro instead of the standard version, according to T-Mobile. The Pro phone will be centered on a 6.7-inch 1440p screen instead of the 1080p panel on the base of the OnePlus 9. The 9 Pro will have a more sophisticated camera setup than its regular counterpart with 50MP, 48MP rear sensors, 8MP and 2MP where the regular handset will abandon the 8MP camera.

T-Mobile hasn’t revealed everything about the OnePlus 9 line, of course. You can expect OnePlus to share much more about the camera system with the Hasselblad emblem, software and prices at its introductory event. This also does not cover 9R and other possible international variants. However, this can help you choose a model to buy (if any) before pre-orders start.
