The launch of the Master Chief collection for new seemingly provoked platforms

A further provocation by 343 Industries indicated that Halo: The Master Chief Collection soon it will be able to reach new platforms. Although the details of this provocation are not really clear at the moment, we must find out what the studio is indicating in the coming weeks.

In a new blog on the official Halo website, 343 Industries announced that it will make new flights (also known as betas) to Halo: The Master Chief Collection in late February or early March. While full details of what this flight will offer have not been provided, 343 said that this next phase may give players “a new place and way to play”. The text is somewhat mysterious, but it gives the impression that the beloved remastered collection of the Halo series may be reaching another platform.

However, before you get too excited about the prospect of Halo: The Master Chief Collection landing on a device like the Nintendo Switch, there is probably a better explanation for what is being proven here. To begin with, many fans have been asking for a custom game browser for some time. This addition would allow people to participate in personalized multiplayer games at will, which would be wonderful.

On the other hand, there is also a chance that Halo: The Master Chief Collection may be arriving at an entirely new PC store. The game is currently available for download via Steam and the Microsoft Store, but the Epic Games Store is notably absent from this line. As such, it may be logical that Halo: MCC could come to EGS in the near future.

Regardless of what is being proven here, 343 said it will share more details of this next flight, once it has a real start date in mind. In addition, it was emphasized that “things can change” in the coming weeks, which means that this new way of playing the collection may not appear on the next flight.

If you would like to participate in this flight, you can also sign up to be part of the Halo Insider program to get in on the action. The flight itself should also be accessible on all platforms for Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC when going live.
