The latest version of unc0ver can unlock the iPhone 12 and iOS 14.3 series

Compared to Android users, where rooting is a straightforward process and unlocks a plethora of features for your device (and a very respectable degree of customization and functionality can be added to your phone, even if you’re not rooted), iOS users don’t really have that easy. The iOS ecosystem is very much blocked and Apple is working hard to ensure it stays that way. But there is a way out of this walled garden and it is called jailbreaking. Unfortunately, however, jailbreak is much more difficult than rooting on Android, but last year we learned about unc0ver, a new iOS jailbreak that became big business because it used a zero-day exploit to jailbreak on phones that were running then, it just released iOS 13.5.

Now, there is a new version of this jailbreak in the city, and it works from iOS 11.0 to iOS 14.3, which means that you can easily unlock the new iPhone 12 series, including the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. In fact, by the time this book was written, users reported that they were able to easily jailbreak new devices. The new version of unc0ver is as simple to install as previous versions: just download AltStore, transfer it to your iOS device and use it to install unc0ver, which will jailbreak your smartphone effortlessly.

Jailbreaking opens the floodgates for iOS personalization and also allows you to add extra functionality to your iOS smartphone. Check out our initial coverage of the unc0ver project to learn more about its developers, some cool mods you can try out and what exactly you can do when you remove the walls on iOS to unlock its full potential. Many incredible and exciting mods have emerged thanks to the jailbreak last year, and we are looking forward to seeing what happens this time. You can check the unc0ver website to download and learn how to install it.
