The latest Steam Game Festival starts Wednesday

Valve’s latest Steam Game Festival starts on Wednesday, giving access to playable demos from over 500 upcoming games from independent developers, along with live chats and discussion panels. The festival’s first iteration took place alongside the Game Awards in December 2019, and was followed by similar events last fall and spring, which provided independent developers with a chance to showcase their titles after the Game Developers Conference was canceled. 2020.

A Steam trailer titled Play what comes next shows some of the games that appear to be available for demonstration during the event, which include Genesis Noir Feral Cat Den; The Riftbreaker Exor Studios; Narita boy Studio Koba; Almighty: Kill your gods Runwild Entertainment; Throw to the end by Splitside Games; and Black book Morteshka, among others.

The last Steam Game Festival starts on February 3 at 1 pm ET and runs through Tuesday, February 9.
