The PlayStation 4 version of The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match is now available on PlayStation Store for $ 14.99 / € 14.99, announced by SNK editor and developer Code Mystics. A physical edition will be released this spring for $ 24.99 / € 34.90.

As the fully adjusted 2009 sequence for the critically acclaimed The King of Fighters 2002, The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match will include a bunch of new features on PlayStation 4, including a larger list of 66 playable characters, a graphic overhaul and redesigned skills. The online functionality of the game is much smoother this time, thanks to the addition of the rollback netcode.

- Rollback Netcode – The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match features updated rollback network code that greatly reduces online lag during matches. Players can adjust the settings to improve their online experience.
- Online quality of life versus resources – The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match includes online resources that allow players to study their games and learn from their mistakes. This includes the ability to watch the 10 most recent online matches again, options that allow win / lose counters and cooldowns to avoid a rematch after a quick fight.
- Two exclusive online modes – Choose between “Rank Match”, where battle results are shared and ranked online, and “Player Match”, where fans can define their own battle settings. Fight to become the real King of Players on the international stage! The world is Yours!
