Holidays are not the easiest times for everyone, and The Kid LAROI cheers his struggling family with the new music video for “TRAGIC”, which he released on Monday.
The opening of the visual directed by Steve Cannon reveals that the 17-year-old rapper’s mother is having a hard time paying the bills when the bills arrive and his brother is upset about not finding any gifts under his Christmas tree. Then the “WITHOUT YOU” star breaks into someone else’s home and steals a new PlayStation 5, digital camera and more electronics à la the Grinch. He doesn’t throw away Mount Crumpit, but instead transports the garbage bag with gifts to a pawn shop, where he collects a pile of money as a gift for his tearful mother and presents the PS5 to his brother.
“I remember times when I have no mer – / No food in the crib, now I live generously”, sings rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again beside him in the chorus.
