The Internet goes crazy about a Pokémon pillow where you put your head in Gengar’s mouth

Pokémon Company and P-Bandai have announced a new Gengar pillow that allows you to rest your head inside Gengar’s mouth and people are very excited about it … for reasons. There is no judgment here – everyone has those days where you want to go home and curl up inside the Pokémon’s head totally sweet and not scary, Gengar. Thanks to The Pokémon Company and P-Bandai, this is now possible with your new Gengar pillow for the price of 25,950 yen, or $ 249.54. The pillow sold out in just over an hour, as noted by Pokeshopper, but perhaps a second batch of pillows will be announced.

Not only can you rest your head inside the soft mouth of this Gengar, but you can also use the 1.5 m tongue of the pillow as a blanket to wrap up or lie down for additional comfort. As you can expect, the internet is crazy about this new pillow and there are already many memes, jokes and fears circulating on social networks.

Here are just a few of IGN’s favorites:

“Rumors say that his gigantic mouth does not lead into his body, full of cursed energy, but directly into the afterlife,” says Pokedex’s entry for Gengar in Pokémon Sword. So, maybe reconsider before putting your head in.

The Pokémon Shield entry says, “it sets traps, hoping to steal the lives of those it captures” and that “if you stand in front of your mouth, you will hear the voices of your loved ones calling for you”. If you are going to stick your head in the mouth of this Gengar pillow, you might consider not doing it yourself.
