Bandai Namco revealed the new song “Session!” for The Idolmaster: Starlit Season as well as the latest game details during the second edition of their “Starlit Report” live streams.

■ Luminous New Song Project: “Session!”
“Session!” is a new song with lyrics by Erica Masaki and music by Yuuki Honda (Arte Refact). It is sung by the idols of the game Haruka Amami, Iori Minase, Makoto Kikichu, Hibiki Ganaha, Nana Abe, Anzu Futaba, Mirai Kasuga, Amana Osaki and Tenka Osaki.
■ Stage: the rules of the three stages
- Live concert) – Animate the place and eliminate the goal “hakoyure” that represents the excitement of the crowd.
- Hearing – Comply with the requests of the “judges” by attending programs and events in which several idol units participate.
- Fes – The competition stage of rivals! Make fans more excited than your rivals to win.

SP (Skill Points) can be acquired by deepening your interactions with idols.
You can earn “Unity Points” through activities with multiple members.
Have each idol learn skills one by one. Two types of points are needed to learn skills.
■ Skill: An Analysis of a Skill Selection
- Drive Memories – An ability that increases the number of participating members and significantly increases the amount of increase of the Synchro meter when making consecutive memory calls.
- Unison cargo – A skill that can generate a Unison Appeal effect for multiple members, expending memories.
- Unison counter – An effective skill during Fes ‘performances that cancels out his rivals’ Unison Appeal and summons his own Unison Appeal.
■ Music: collaborative music between agencies
Some hit songs can be sung on stage as collaborative songs. The reason for these collaborations will be clear in the main story.
For example, one of the collaboration songs is “Onegai! Cinderella. “You can perform on stage with up to five members of the Cinderella Girls and Million Live! idols that appear in the game.
The Idolmaster: Starlit Season will be released for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam in 2021 in Japan and Asia.
