The idea of the Apex Legends chandelier for Octane would give him an explosive change

Apex Legends currently has a small hop-up pool for selected weapons, but others have been identified through game files and have never been released. Here are all the hop-ups discovered and whether they will be released anytime soon.

As Respawn Entertainment added new content to Apex Legends in the form of legends, weapons, skins, accessories and skins, dataminers and leakers got their hands on details about unreleased items.

Most of the time, they were jumps. Even though the current loot set contains only a handful of these accessories, fans are always looking for more and hoping their favorite weapon will receive a hop-up.

With season 8 in progress, more of these leaked. So, let’s get a complete list of them, what they can do and if they can still come to the Apex Games.

Double Tap Trigger was one of Apex’s best hop-ups, but it was removed in season 8.

Gunsmith

The most recent leaking leak came in the form of Armorsmith, which leaks found in the game files after the first hotfix of season 8.

According to the leaks, it bears a resemblance to the once popular Disruptor Rounds jump, as would occur in the RE-45 and Alternator weapons. However, instead of doing additional damage, it would help to increase your shield at a faster rate than normal.

Compared to some of the other leaked attachments we saw, it is possible that this will be released sometime in the future, and perhaps already in season 9.

The Gunsmith’s jump would likely increase his shield gain rate.

Heat sink

In addition to Armorsmith, season 8 also brought leaks about a hop-up known as Heatsink. Revealed for the first time in season 6, more voices were added for Horizon and Fuse in season 7 and 8, respectively. There is not much to say about the jump, besides those lines from the current list of Apex characters.

What’s interesting, however, is that the name has appeared on several fan concepts before, each suggesting that it could help L-Star and the Charge Rifle.

Incendiary Rounds

Retreating until 2019, the leak from the Incendiary Rounds is a little less enigmatic than the others. As the name suggests, it would just be bullets that would do fire damage when used.

Given that Fuse is now on the Apex, and his kit revolves around fire, it could have been a perfect addition to the legend with an Australian voice. However, as the attachment was leaked for a while and we didn’t hear anything else, it could have been discarded by Respawn.

Sentinel climb and gold sniper stock

A similar enigmatic leak also appeared on sniper rifles. Previously, the leaks suggested that snipers would be receiving a gold sniper action, similar to the autoloader magazine that is now available, but it did not.

In season 8, there is a high point in Sentinel, generating more rumors. However, Respawn said it was just a visual bug, so make it what you want.

Currently, only the longbow shooter can use an Apex hop-up – the Skullpiercer Rifling – but perhaps more will come in the future. Sniper users certainly hope so.

Apex Legends Season 8 new leap

A new Hop-Up for Sentinel may be in progress.

As the Apex continues to expand and enter new seasons, more hop-ups are likely to be discovered, but there may be cases where developers are just testing ideas instead of adding them.

We will continue to update this post with more hop-ups and leaked attachments.
