‘The Hills’ star Lo Bosworth says he ‘suffered a traumatic brain injury’, other health problems

The reality show personality Lauren “Lo” Bosworth spoke about an accident that left her with a severe brain injury and triggered a lifestyle change.

“[Two] years ago, in March, I suffered a traumatic brain injury that I didn’t tell you about. I was in a restaurant in lower Manhattan (which will remain nameless before accidents happen), and while I was sitting at a banquet, one of the kitchen swing doors fell. [sic] hinges and in my head, “wrote Bosworth, 34, to his 829,000 followers on Instagram on Saturday.

“I was in the hospital and suffered a moderate to severe concussion for months. I took weeks off from work and the road to recovery was long. I remember visiting a friend a few weeks later and feeling totally lost on 3rd Avenue and 21st street, not knowing in which direction to walk “, he added. “I still struggle to remember the words once in a while and get my thoughts out consistently 2 years later.”

In addition to his concussion, Bosworth was diagnosed with mononucleosis, a virus that can cause fatigue and sore throat, as well as swollen lymph nodes, tonsils and spleen, among other symptoms, according to the Mayo Clinic.

While fighting his brain injury and concussion, Bosworth described his need for rest for months on end. However, she was still working full time at Love Wellness, her personal care business aimed at women.

Fifteen years before Bosworth faced health challenges, she was an MTV reality show star who appeared on “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” and “The Hills” between 2004 and 2010.

Bosworth notably missed in the revival series “The Hills: New Beginnings” in 2019. Instead, she started her company Love Wellness, which is a brand that claims “self-care that is positive for the body, based on science”.
