The Halo Infinite update is not the update that Xbox fans wanted

One new Halo Infinite update is not exactly the update that Xbox fans wanted. Halo Infinite is scheduled to be released later this year via Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC and Xbox Game Pass. However, we haven’t seen him since his disastrous revelation this summer. Furthermore, there were hardly any significant updates, which means that when a worrying update comes up, things get even worse. The latest worrying update comes from Kolbe Payne, a campaign level and gameplay designer who has been with 343 Industries since 2019. On Twitter, Payne revealed that he is leaving the studio behind.

This update alone is hardly noticeable. Many developers jump from studio to studio, especially if they are making an employment contract, which Payne was doing. However, 343 Industries in particular has been bleeding talent, including some individuals in charge of the game’s development. Things don’t look very good at 343 Industries, which is why every time someone leaves the studio, industry fans notice, especially those who want to areola.

Payne does not say why he is leaving 343 Industries behind, but notes that he is going to Gunfire Games, the developer behind Darksiders 3 and Remnant: Das Cinzas.

Again, every large studio goes through a turnover. In fact, many argue that the industry has a substantial turnover problem. However, there do not appear to be many studios experiencing more turnover in the past two years than 343 Industries. If this, in particular, is indicative of a bigger problem, who knows, but many have left the studio behind recently, including creative projects and leads, and this is generally not a big sign about game development.

Halo Infinite is in development for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC and should be released soon this holiday. For more coverage on the future science fiction first-person shooter, click here or check out some of the relevant links listed below:
