The GTA 6 trailer may arrive soon, reveals Rockstar’s Joblisting

Rockstar is looking for someone to capture the cinematic gameplay for its marketing campaign, which probably means that the GTA 6 trailer is on its way.

More than seven years have passed since the launch of the Grand Theft Auto 5 and we still haven’t received any confirmation from Rockstar Games in a sequel. The developer always tends to ignore the media and keep quiet about his next projects until just a year or two before launch. With some of the reporters believing that the next GTA game will be around 2023 or beyond, it’s safe to say the game should be revealed sometime in 2021 or 2022. Now, a recent spot on the official Rockstar Games website suggests GTA 6 trailer.

According to the job description, Rockstar Games needs someone to capture cinematic gameplay footage to use in online and TV campaigns. It is clearly a function to assist the team in creating commercial teasers and ad trailers. Although Rockstar Games’ next project is yet to be revealed, our best guess is that the new hire has something to do with GTA 6 trailer.

Regarding the fact that Grand Theft Auto 5 is scheduled to be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S later this year, Rockstar Games may not reveal GTA 6 in 2021 as it could affect sales of GTA 5 on new consoles negatively.

Since the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2, we didn’t hear anything about the studio’s next project. However, some reports suggest that GTA 6 is still in the early stages of development and would not be released anytime soon.

Dan Houser, a leading member of Rockstar Games studios and the man behind who took over the direction of writing the story of Red Dead Redemption 2 and some other popular titles from the company, left the studio in 2019. He and Lesley Benzies played important roles in the development GTA 5, but now they are out of the market and it is not yet known how this would affect GTA 6 and its development process.
