The New York Giants made the wave of the weekend by signing a four-year deal with Kenny Golladay, the former Lions highlight, for $ 72 million, but they haven’t finished buying big names. According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan and Jordan Schultz, the G-Men made it a “high priority” to add the cornerback Adoree ‘Jackson, recently released by the Titans, and are the pioneers in choosing the ex-draft-round.

At just 25, Jackson was a surprise cut by Tennessee at the start of the free agency period, although his release saved the team $ 10.2 million in 2021, which he should play with the fifth-year option. Chosen in 18th overall position at the USC in 2017, the young cornerback could start opposite James Bradberry, the great addition of the Giants in 2020. He also has an extensive history as a kick and punt debtor, which could please Joe Judge, who he was coordinator of special teams before taking over in New York.

Jackson’s plan is to visit the Giants on Monday, and then visit rival NFC East Eagles that night. Philadelphia is also looking for secondary short and long term depth, and recently adding former Vikings security player Anthony Harris, may be seeing Jackson as a rival to start alongside Darius Slay in 2021.

A stick for all college work, Jackson had mixed results as an NFL corner. He played all 16 games in each of his first two seasons, totaling 143 tackles, 27 passing deflections, three forced fumbles and two interceptions. Since then, however, he has lost 18 games, starting just two in 2020 because of a knee injury.
