The Galaxy S20 may inherit another feature unique to the Galaxy S21

Samsung started adding exclusive Galaxy S21 features to its older smartphones last month with the launch of One UI 3.1, but a popular camera feature – Director’s View – remained exclusive to Galaxy S21 series. With an upcoming update, that could change.

Galaxy S20 may be next in line for S21’s Director’s View feature

T-Mobile recently updated its Galaxy S20 support pages to include instructions on how to use the Director’s View feature within the camera application, as noted by GalaxyClub. The feature is not yet available, but the change implies that it will be made available with a future update. The Director’s View works by displaying real-time feeds from all cameras on the display. Users can then seamlessly switch between lenses during shooting to create more beautiful videos, something that should be useful for content creators.

It will complement the other features of the Galaxy S21 that Users of Samsung’s Galaxy S20 inherited last month very well. This includes Eye Comfort Shield, Single Take, Touch Autofocus, Multi Mic Recording and Auto Switch support on Galaxy Buds.

There is no information on when the Director’s View camera feature will be implemented on the Galaxy S20 series, but it shouldn’t be far off if T-Mobile has already published the listings. It is important to note, however, that there is always the possibility that this could simply be a mistake.
