The first official trailer shows the promise of the man of steel to fight for his family

The first official trailer for Superman and Lois finally arrived and while there is still real footage, there are some glimpses of what to expect as the Man of Steel (Tyler Hoechlin) chronicles a message of hope about becoming a stronger version of himself to protect those he loves, which, of course, includes his wife Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch).

The trailer also provides our first glances at his two sons, Jonathan (Jordan Elsaas) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin), and possibly suggests a trip to the Phantom Zone, which may explain why Krypton’s Last Son is so concerned about safety from your family .

With just under two months to go before the series opens on February 23, a more substantial trailer should be with us in the coming weeks, probably giving a preview of the epic action to come, but until then, enjoy the preview below.
