The Falcon and the Winter Soldier release two new teasers

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier released two new teasers on Saturday, two weeks from the show’s debut on Disney +. The teasers offer new glimpses of the action in Marvel Studios’ second streaming series. The successor to Captain America’s films sees Steve Rogers’ two friends and protégés, Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson, trying to do the right thing for the memory of his mentor as new would-be successors like John Walker and terrorists like Baron Zemo and the Flag Crushers get out of the den to challenge them. In a recent interview, star Sebastian Stan suggested that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier it will be a much more traditional narrative than Marvel’s first streaming show, WandaVIsion.

“I think that WandaVision it’s a really interesting and different show from Marvel, and it’s tonal in its own world, “says Stan Total Movie. “I think we are also in our own world, in line with what the Captain America franchise films have been – The winter soldier, Civil war – so I think we follow a much more basic and identifiable approach.

“It’s a continuation of the story and we finally have enough time with these characters,” he says. “We never had a chance to really understand where they came from and the ability to explore that in the tone of the films, to have the action and now more of the character, has been very good.”

According to Mackie, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier sees Falcon struggling with Captain America’s legacy after Cap left the shield for him in Avengers: Endgame. “See, at the end of Endgame, Sam did not accept the shield. If you remember, he said to Steve [Rogers], ‘It doesn’t feel right because the shield is yours.’ So the show is a long way to find out who Captain America will be, “said Mackie during an episode of The Rich Eisen Show. “Where the shield is going to end. And who’s going to be Captain America, and that nickname is going to come back. Is anyone going to use that nickname again?”
