The Elder Scrolls 6 rumor reveals a big change in gameplay

A new rumor regarding the launch of The Elder Scrolls 6 on PC, Xbox Series X and possibly PS5 it has been circulating for reports of a major gameplay change, or at least a gameplay addition that could fundamentally change the series. It’s been almost three years since Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls 6. Typically, a game is already released three years after its revelation, or at least, is preparing for release. This is not the case with The Elder Scrolls 6. Not only will it not be released soon, but we don’t know anything about it. In three years, Bethesda has said absolutely zero about the game, at least of the consequences. What we have are many rumors filling this information gap.

The most recent one comes along the path of a leaker who, despite having an inconsistent record, draws attention to each statement he makes. The most recent thing they did is about O Elder Scrolls 6, who claim that it will introduce survival mechanics to the series, presumably similar to the Fallout 76, since it is the same studio. Of course, depending on how deep and essential these mechanics are, they can turn out to be a big change in gameplay.

The spill also conveys the word “a new creative system to implement and create new spells and magical abilities” that are “different Skyrim and previous games. “

Unfortunately, this is where the rumor ends. There is no word on a release date or anything super juicy, but that could explain – at least partially – why the game is taking so long. Bethesda is not only working with a new engine, but if it’s introducing new mechanics and expanding existing ones, it will take time, especially if most of the studio is working on it Starfield.

That said, be sure to take everything here with a big grain of salt. As mentioned, the leak in question has a track record that includes both precise leaks and rumors, as well as inaccurate rumors and leaks.

At the time of publication, Bethesda did not comment on any of the above information, and probably will not. So far, he hasn’t commented on a single rumor related to The Elder Scrolls 6, and it’s hard to imagine that changing now.
