The Elder Scrolls 6 Possibly Provoked Scenario

The Elder Scrolls 6 The release date may take years, but it looks like Bethesda Game Studios may have just messed with the game’s configuration, presumably coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and PC. While the next installment in The Elder Scrolls series was announced in 2018, we actually don’t know anything about the game. However, when accessing Twitter and through the series’ official account, Bethesda possibly gave a hint as to where the next game might take players.

The post, which wishes its followers a happy new year, is apparently very innocent, but comes with a map of Skyrim and the caption “transcribing the past and mapping the future.” Again, at the surface level, there doesn’t seem to be much of that, but there are also some strange lights on the map. One of these lights is in Solitude, the capital of Skyrim. The second appears slightly off the map, suggesting that there is no meaning to its location. However, the third is located in the neighboring region, Hammerfell.

As you may know, the current speculation – partly fueled by rumors and leaks – is that the next game, at least partially, will take place in Hammerfell, which makes this seemingly random placement of lights a little suspect.

For now, consider everything here with a great grain of salt, because it is all just speculation. However, on Reddit, fans pointed out the mentioned observations and how the combination of the legend, the map, the lights and the locations involved are, at the very least, interesting and suspicious.

At the time of publication, Bethesda did not comment on any of these speculations in any capacity. If it is a genuine provocation, there is no way to change it. However, if it is just baseless speculation, there is a chance that Bethesda could crush it. If that happens, we’ll be sure to update the story.
