The Digital Coaches program launches in SC on Monday> Columbia Business Report

A program aimed at boosting small businesses owned by blacks and Latinos will launch in South Carolina on Monday.

Cleckley (photo / provided)The Grow with Google’s Digital Coaches program offers digital skills training and coaching led by regional professionals across the country. South Carolina’s digital coach is Shennice Cleckley, CEO of Smart Cookie Coaching, a business development company that helps entrepreneurs with strategic planning, digital skills training and lifestyle integration. Cleckley also hosts a corporate lifestyle podcast called The Bootstrap Queen and The Dream Pray Launch Show on YouTube.

Cleckley will facilitate the content of the first free workshop of Digital Coaches, Collaborate, Meet and Work Remotely, which will be held on Monday from 18h. Registration is mandatory.

“I am thrilled to be part of the Google Digital Coaches Program in South Carolina and am grateful for the company’s leadership in making such a program happen,” said Cleckley in a press release. “I saw firsthand how the skills this program offers can help business owners succeed and I hope to help businesses across the state grow.”

The Digital Coaches program will provide ongoing support, including virtual training, to help small business owners become and stay productive.

“South Carolina has a vibrant and growing small and black small business community,” Lucy Pinto, Digital Coaches program manager. “The Digital Coaches program will provide business owners in these communities with ongoing workshops and practical coaching sessions focusing on digital techniques and tools to reach new customers, prosper online and grow.”
