The death of the Apple Touch Bar is long overdue

I won’t get my hopes up, but it looks like Apple can finally get rid of the stupid and hated Touch Bar on your MacBook Pro 2021

According to trust analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is planning to replace the Touch Bar featured in its current crop of MacBooks and instead revert to the physical keys (among other things) for the MacBook line. I like to think that this much requested change is due to the exact suggestion I made in my review of the 13-inch MacBook Pro last year. (Yes, it’s me taking the credit).

After all, the Touch Bar is one of the most useless additions to the MacBook Pro, a feature that Apple foolishly introduced in 2016. Of course looks cool, but it’s super intuitive – adjusting things like volume and brightness requires extra touches and isn’t even optimized for all applications. What’s more, unless you go through the process of adjusting your MacBook’s settings and customizing the Touch Bar, your life will be filled with a series of accidental shots from another useless Apple innovation: Siri.

Fortunately, I’m not the only one who feels that way. The minute the news broke, people flocked to Twitter to express their disdain for the supposed death of this stupid feature.

I agree 100 percent that the Touch Bar is “rubbish”.

I told you, none of the third party apps are even optimized for that.

In addition to describing the Touch Bar as “rubbish”, it can also be categorized as “tricks”.

Watch? I’m not the only one who hates this thing. We hope that 2021 will bring good news: the death of Touch Bar.
