The death of FBI agents in Florida attracted Biden’s sadness: “A hell of a price to pay”
After his presidency’s first major police tragedy, Joe Biden expressed condolences to the families of two FBI agents killed on Tuesday as they attempted to comply with an injunction in connection with an investigation of child pornography and violence against children in Florida.

“They put their lives at risk and it’s a hell of a price to pay,” said Biden of the Oval Office. “And every day … in general, the vast majority of these men and women are decent and honorable people who put themselves in line. We owe them.”

He said he had not yet had a chance to speak with the victims’ families and did not plan to do so on Tuesday.

The 6 am shooting left FBI special agents dead, two in a hospital and one with minor injuries. The suspect was also killed. FBI director Christopher Wray identified the two dead agents as Daniel Alfin and Laura Schwartzenberger. It was the deadliest day for the FBI since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Nuclear war with China or Russia a ‘real possibility’, warns STRATCOM commander
The head of the U.S. Strategic Command is asking military and federal leaders to reinvent methods of deterring aggressive actions by rivals like China and Russia, including the “real possibility” of nuclear war.

In a rigorous assessment of the current geopolitical landscape, Commander Admiral Charles Richard of STRATCOM warned that China and Russia “began to aggressively challenge international norms” in “ways not seen since the height of the Cold War”.

Richard cited an increase in cyber attacks and “threats in space”, as well as his investments in advanced weapons, such as nuclear weapons. STRATCOM is responsible for the US nuclear deterrence.

“There is a real possibility that a regional crisis with Russia or China could quickly turn into a nuclear weapons conflict if they realize that a conventional loss would threaten the regime or the state,” wrote Richard in the February issue of ” Proceedings, “the US Naval Institute’s monthly magazine. “Consequently, the US military must shift its main assumption from ‘nuclear employment is not possible’ to ‘nuclear employment is a very real possibility’, and act to address and stop that reality.” CLICK HERE FOR MORE.

SOME STARTING WORDS

Tucker Carlson criticized a New York University study saying there was no evidence to support the claims of conservative censorship.

“They didn’t hide their findings in footnotes, they went straight to the point in the title – ‘False accusations: the unfounded claim by social media companies to censor conservatives,'” Carlson said during Tuesday’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight”.

“So it turns out that what we’ve been saying to you for years is not true, it’s just an unfounded statement. There is no truth to that. That’s what they concluded. It’s all in the paper.”
