FRISCO – The Dallas Cowboys’ NFL 2021 season schedule, in a way, got a little more difficult.
As well? They will be opposing the two Super Bowl teams of the 2020 season.
We still don’t know everything about programming; in fact, with the new 17th game, in addition to not knowing dates and such yet, we do not know where the Patriots vs. Dallas game will be played.
But we know that the Cowboys will be challenged by two franchises that they believe are up in the calendar year 2021 after the Super Bowl LV on Sunday, February 7. Dallas, you see, will have to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the defenders The NFC champions and the Kansas City Chiefs, who will be the AFC champions.
Oh, one more thing: the meeting with the Bucs will be in Tampa, and the meeting with the bosses will be in Kansas City.
Dallas will, of course, be out of his 6-10 season, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be “the same team”. But QB Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs? They think they are very similar. And Tom Brady and the Buccaneers? They figure the same way.
Each NFC East team (Washington, Dallas, the Giants and Philadelphia) plays each other twice, as usual. So, in addition to New England, it looks like this:
Home at AT&T Stadium: Washington Football Team, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and Las Vegas Raiders.
Out: Washington, the Giants, the Eagles, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Los Angeles Chargers, the Kansas City Chiefs, the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings.

There are many unknowns for the Dallas Cowboys moving forward. Yes, 10th place in the NFL Draft is closed and, yes, negotiations with QB Dak Prescott can accelerate. But otherwise? As with any 6-10 team, owner Jerry Jones and the Cowboys need to take a good look in the mirror to see what they can really learn about themselves. … with that intense look being followed by a first-hand look at what the two Super Bowl teams look like.
