ORLANDO, Fla. – A Johnson and Johnson vaccine was available to anyone aged 18 or over at Jazz in the Park in Orlando on Saturday, according to city commissioner Bakari Burns.

“If you are 18 or older, you can be vaccinated,” said Commissioner Bakari Burns.

Burns said this in a Facebook Live post at around 5:30 am in the video. He made this post around 1:13 pm on Saturday. About three hours later, Burns clarified his statement and said that anyone aged 18 or over had comorbidities.

News 6 spoke to people under the age of 40 who received the COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday.

Tickets for the event at Bill Frederick Park sold out earlier this week, according to Burns’ Facebook page.

“We all need to consider getting the vaccine if we haven’t already,” said Burns.
