COVID-19 vaccines could one day be taken in pill form, said the British minister of vaccine distribution.
Nadhim Zahawi said that there may be an oral option available in the future, reported the Telegraph.
“There are technologies with pills and others being developed around the world and we will continue to look at them,” Zahawi told Times Radio.
“But we are ensuring that the UK will always have the capacity and capacity to manufacture variant vaccines that will handle any variant virus.”
A British biotechnology company has already turned jabs into a pill that has produced “exceptional” results in protecting monkeys against coronavirus.
