An ABC crew member The Conners died on the set after a “fatal medical event”.

“With a heavy heart, we regret to confirm that a member of our technical team suffered a fatal medical event today. He has been a beloved member of the The Conners and Roseanne families for over 25 years. As we remember our dear colleague, we ask that you respect the privacy of your family and loved ones as they begin their grieving process. “
The crew member was on a catwalk at stage 22 of the CBS Studio Center on Thursday, when he suffered a medical emergency, said TMZ, who initially reported the death. Paramedics from the studio were called in but were unable to resuscitate the man and he was pronounced dead on the spot.
The show was ending production for the remaining episodes of its current third season.
