The company will pay you $ 2,400 to be without a screen for 24 hours

It is difficult to imagine a life without screens today … but what about 24 hours? A whole day without social media, emails, video games or news.

A company is willing to pay you $ 2,400 if you can.

Reviews.org – a company that reviews products and services designed to make your home smarter – is running a “Digital Detox Challenge”, where lucky competitors will receive $ 2,400 to go without technology for 24 hours.

Anyone in the United States who is over 18 years of age and exhausted from work, perdition, partying, gambling and the like is encouraged to register for the challenge.

The challengers chosen by the company will receive a safe to store all their technology for those 24 hours, along with a $ 200 gift card from Amazon to help create a “technology-free survival kit”. The challenger will select a day that works for them within a given two-week period to start their 24 hours without a screen.

Out-of-limit technology doesn’t include your microwave, but it does include cell phones, tablets, smart watches, TVs, game consoles / portable gaming devices, computers or laptops, smart home devices like smart speakers or smart vacuums and any wearable technology.

At the end of the 24-hour period, challengers will send screen time reports to prove that they haven’t touched their screens for an entire day.

Do you think you are prepared for the challenge? You can register for the 2021 Digital Detox Challenge at Review.org right here. Registration is open until 15:00 EST on March 26th and the contestants will be chosen on March 29th.

It is unclear exactly how many people will be chosen to participate in the challenge.
