The cold lasts a few days with some showers!

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – The cold will last for a few more days! Afternoon temperatures will be close to 50 degrees, but it will get colder thanks to a gust of northwest wind. The gusts of wind for the rest of the day will be between 20 and 30 mph! The clouds will return in the afternoon and evening, as a fast-moving disturbance slides through the area. A lost rain cannot be ruled out. After that passes, the sky will be clear overnight and temperatures will drop rapidly due to a weaker wind. Nighttime lows range from 28-32 ° inland, 33-36 ° on beaches. The sun will continue on Wednesday, before the clouds start to return on Thursday. Our next storm system will bring a chance of some showers on Friday. We will dry out on Friday night, but another chance of rain will likely pass through the area between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. We will keep you updated on the chances of rain over the weekend, as computer models agree!
