When Google launched the Pixel 4a 5G, it offered only a black variant for most people interested in the phone – a Clearly White version was exclusive to Verizon customers who have to pay an additional $ 100 for mmWave 5G support. Google has already confirmed that this would change that this year, and now, finally, the time has come: anyone interested in a Clearly White Pixel 4a 5G can now buy it unlocked, with no Verizon mmWave antenna inside. To commemorate the occasion, Google also lowered the price by $ 40 to $ 459.

The Pixel 4a and 4a 5G were the first Pixel smartphones to be launched in just one color and one storage configuration: black with 128 GB. It is speculated that Google decided to reduce the settings to keep the price low and make the stock easily predictable, but it is still a drag for those who just prefer white phones and are not a Verizon customer. For the Pixel 4a 5G, now you finally have a choice, and it’s great to see Google lower the price while you’re doing it.

The new color is available in regular stores (although not yet on Google Fi) and all of them have lowered the price to $ 459. Since we don’t know how much inventory Google has sent to resellers, you can act quickly if you’re interested in getting your hands on Clearly White model coming soon.
