The floodgates are officially open with the NFL’s free agency period and the new year of the league began at 4 pm Eastern Time. Teams have been negotiating with players during the legal adulteration period for the past two days, but now they can officially announce deals with players they have agreed to. Several of the main free agents are already off the board, especially along the offensive line. There are still some options available for Kansas City chiefs to consider at the official start of the free agency.
