CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – Temperatures will drop rapidly after sunset with clear skies, the lows will be close to 40 degrees. Clouds will increase on Friday as our next storm system approaches the area. A cold front will cross the area on Friday, bringing with it a chance of some showers. Rainfall will be from late Friday morning until early Friday evening. The highs will reach 60 degrees before cooling as the rain passes through the area. Dry weather is expected behind the cold front, but it will be much cooler on the weekend. The highs will be around 50 on Saturday and Sunday, with the morning low close to zero on Sunday. High pressure returns to the area next week, leading to a lot of sun and gradual warming.
