The Celtics need to fire Brad Stevens to save the season

It’s been a roller coaster season for the Boston Celtics. Combined with injuries, safety protocols and poor rotations, the team did not have the opportunity to race in the Eastern Conference. Coach Brad Stevens is currently in the cradle of Boston’s fights. The more your team fights, the greater the chances of Stevens being replaced as head coach.

In general. Stevens did an excellent job of turning the Celtics into real candidates again. The pressure was on him to change the dynamics of the organization after the great Boston ages. In Stevens’ eight seasons as a Celtics coach, he had a 333-263 record, in addition to three appearances in the Eastern Conference finals. The question has recently been what’s next for Stevens as the sideline leader? Is he the key to helping Boston win a championship? So far this season, it didn’t look like that.

The Celtics are certainly dealing with injuries. The problem is that Stevens doesn’t seem to be able to motivate his players to play well. Watching the Celtics on the ground, the team has not been on the same page at both ends. Stevens has problems with chemistry because he’s not sure his players are locked up. The terrible game on the floor also hit the locker room, where Stevens also doesn’t seem to be in control.

The Celtics should potentially fire Brad Stevens and bring in a new coach. As a historic organization, it is so long when a team can wait for a coach to deliver a championship before it is too late. Stevens seems to have reached that step recently. As Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown continue to evolve as franchise players, it is necessary to have the right coach to take them to the NBA finals. Unfortunately, Stevens has failed to make an appearance in the finals over his eight seasons. Since the Celtics have teams like Brooklyn and others on their way, their chances of leaving the East are almost nil at the moment.

The next head coach who comes to the Celtics must understand the importance of this team’s valuable players. Using players around stars is one of the important factors in becoming successful. Players at Robert Williams, Payton Pritchard and others can make a huge contribution to Boston when they get the chance. As the second half of the NBA season is underway, role players should be used to a greater extent to help the Celtics return to the winning column. It is more likely that it will be impossible for Boston to get top seed with the way it has been fighting. But there is still a chance that the team will end the season with momentum in their favor.

Brad Stevens and Danny Ainge seem to have a great working relationship. But, as Ainge is known to be, he shows no fear of making business decisions that will benefit the franchise. Brad Stevens’ term in Boston was due to end. As the two Celtics stars continue to grow and mature, the Boston board must find a coach who understands what it takes to lead a team to an NBA championship.
