ONE Call of Duty war zone the hotfix that adjusts the balance of weapons was launched, including the introduction of a FFAR nerf.
The April 6 hotfix follows the Call of Duty: war zone patch notes which fell last week, and addresses some complaints from the Warzone community that were not addressed in the main patch – namely the FFAR being overloaded.
Raven Software posted the official patch notes on its website, along with a screenshot of the patch notes on Twitter.

The FFAR is the main target of the hotfix, with the assault rifle achieving a reduction in the speed of the Mira Down. Raven noted that it should be a stick for every job, but that it was very good at close range and was outperforming SMGs up close. This slower ADS speed should keep the weapon strong in the middle range, while reducing its effectiveness in a short-range shootout.
There are some other noteworthy changes in this hotfix. The Cold War Charlie tactical rifle saw an increase in recoil force. The notes explain that in its previous iteration it was very easy to stay on target, which means that the weapon was extremely powerful and quite accurate. This correction means that it maintains energy, but loses some accuracy.
In addition, there were also some changes and fixes to various accessories, including Salvo Fast Mag, which was giving the FFAR an even greater advantage by not slowing down the ADS when equipped.
The hotfix is in the air now, so if you were planning a latest riot at FFAR, we fear you are out of luck.
After the second season’s Reloaded patch scores dropped last week, many players in the war zone were dissatisfied with the relatively light touch needed to balance their weapons. In fact, Warzone players started trying to get Raven Software’s attention using the clan tag “FIXWZ”. Well, it looks like they were listening all the time, since one of the main complaints from the community was the dominated FFAR.
