The ‘Big Ang’ cast member who also appeared on ‘Mob Wives’ was 67 – Deadline

Linda Torres, who appeared on the VH1 reality show Big Ang and sometimes in Mafia Wives, he died. Janine Detore, the sister of the last Big Ang Angela Raiola told TMZ that Torres died Thursday at Staten Island University Hospital, shortly after being diagnosed with Covid-19. She was 67 years old.

Big Ang, a spinoff of Mafia Wives when Raiola (Big Ang) appeared, aired for a season on VH1 in 2012. Torres was friends with Raiola, and also appeared in cameos on Mafia Wives. Raiola died five years ago of throat cancer.

Torres had recently undergone surgery after a breast cancer diagnosis, according to TMZ. Her daughters took care of her after the surgery and took her back to the hospital after she developed a fever, and she subsequently tested positive for coronavirus.

In a 2013 interview with Mikki May of MyEPK about Big Ang and Mafia Wives, Torres said: “Big Ang has been one of my best friends for 40 years. All the girls we go out with, you know, we get together, we party, we film a lot of Patron, we laugh, we fight, we go out with a lot of young guys, we have a lot of fun. Mafia Wives it’s a little bit more serious. … At the Big Ang show, we are very down to earth and quiet, and we are looking for fun and no drama. My Big Ang is a mother without drama, but I am her little pit bull. “

Torres appears in the trailer for Big Ang below.
