The Big Adventure Event is a new Steam showcase, dedicated to the adventure genre. There is an event center in the Steam app that players can explore, with new demos, developer comments and adventure title sales.
The event is hosted by Hitcents – a popular indie game publisher – and many of its best-selling games will go on sale during The Big Adventure.
“Players will be invited to participate while the developers broadcast their work live, offering the chance to share information from behind the scenes, answer questions and show what could become their next favorite adventure game,” said Hitcents in a press release . “Players can expect broadcasts from developers of a variety of titles, including Unforeseen incidents, Inspector waffles, Tangle Tower, and Lord Winklebottom investigates. “
Sales that take place during the Big Adventure Event are not just for adventure games; games from other genres are also available. Players can choose games like Amalur Kingdoms Review, Democracy 4, and Deliver us to the moon.
The Big Adventure Event on Steam is now live and will be active until January 25th.
