The Bachelor’s Carly Waddell is “very sad” after announcing the separation of Evan Bass

Single veterinarians Carly Waddell and Evan Bass announced their separation after three years of marriage on December 23 in a joint statement.

On Saturday, Waddell, 35, broke the silence on the subject by sharing that he was ‘very sad’ about the subject on Christmas Day.

Posting a photo of her and the couple’s two children, Bella, two, and Charlie, 13 months, on Instagram, she said, ‘I feel like I’m losing a piece of my soul’ while reflecting on the breakup.

‘Merry Christmas. Christmas day is not what I expected this year. The three of us. The new normal. Which looks incredibly abnormal and, in fact, very sad, ‘she said.

‘A lot of kind people asked if I’m fine. And I want to say that I am, but I am not. I’m leaving. Today is the first day that the two children will spend the night at Evan’s home, ”she shared.

‘I feel like I’m losing a piece of my soul. I am literally sitting alone writing this. But I am grateful that it was a white Christmas and I am grateful that all the children are having a great time with their father and brothers. ‘

She concluded: ‘They are feeling very loved. Thanks for checking me out. Love you all.’

Releasing the news to People magazine on Wednesday, the pair said:

‘We made the difficult decision to split up. We will always value our time together and continue to have the utmost respect for each other while focusing on what is best for our family’s future. ‘

The duo met and got engaged to Bachelor spinoff, Bachelor in Paradise, in 2016, and got married in 2017 on the show.

Although apparently not interested in Bass, 38, at first, he worked on his charm and they fell head over heels in love when the season ended with a proposal.

Bringing two children into the world shortly after the wedding, things seemed to be a fairytale ending for the couple, but fans have begun to suspect the relationship in the past six months.

The couple swore they would have no more children in June (Bass has three boys from a previous relationship), as Bass said: ‘I don’t think we could do it if we had another. It would take us a little longer, but … they would probably take us on different paths, ‘he shared on the podcast Mommies Tell All.

Waddell continued to fuel speculation that things were failing when she shared on December 6 that she changed on a vlog, not to mention Evan in terms of ‘us’ in the video.

When Evan turned 38 on December 17, he celebrated without Carly by his side, just posting a photo of his children that he called ‘My loves’.

The duo announced the split less than a week after their solo birthday and have since stopped following each other on social media.

In addition to his joint statement to People, Bass remained silent on the matter, just speaking openly to shut down a troll on Instagram who commented on an old photo of the pair.

The caption in the photo was: ‘There was never a better paradise love story’, to which a troll replied: ‘It didn’t age well’, when Bass replied and said it was ‘It’s still true’.
