As for power, the laptop’s integrated GPU has enough graphics power to perform most of its tasks with 1,255 MHz of power. But for games, you really want to use the Nvidia RTX 3080 at its total power of 1,810 MHz and all of its 2nd generation RT cores.
In addition, Asus has developed a gaming laptop that is not only ultraportable, but also versatile for many uses other than gaming.
The Asus ROG Flow X13 is a convertible laptop with a 360 degree hinge that allows users to flip the screen and use the machine as a Windows tablet. In this mode, users can design, play touch-based games and watch streaming media. The screen also looks fantastic on paper with Ultra HD 4K resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate.
As for its other specifications, the Asus ROG Flow X13 has DDR4X 4,266 MHz memory and SSD capacity of up to 1 TB. You can also expect 10 hours of video playback on this notebook’s battery.
And when you want to start playing, just connect your ROG XG Mobile to your laptop with a proprietary cable. Instead of using Thunderbolt 3 or 4, Asus chose to develop a customized PCIe 3.0 x 8 interface that claims to be faster.
Users can connect this eGPU box to a game monitor using its DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0a ports. This compact external GPU also acts as a 280 W AC adapter for the laptop and I / O hub thanks to its USB 3.2 Gen 2 connector.
The Asus ROG Flow X13 must be ready for pre-order now on the Asus website, but at the time of writing this document, the company has not yet released pricing or availability.
