The ASUS Chromebook CX9 is tough, light and powerful

As for the more traditional specs, the CX9 uses 11th generation Intel processors, even a Core i7 – more power than most people need on a Chromebook, but that means it must be extremely fast. ASUS squeezed a 14 inch screen here with fine sockets; the company says the laptop has a screen-to-body ratio of 91 percent. ASUS did not mention RAM or storage sizes, but the laptop has a wide variety of ports (at least as far as a laptop in 2021 is concerned). One side has two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 and an HDMI port, while the other has a traditional USB-A, a micro SD slot, a headset and a security lock.

We don’t have a release date or price for the CX9 Chromebook yet; At this point, all we know is that it will be available in the United States in the second quarter of this year. But if it has the quality build that ASUS claims to have, it’s not hard to imagine a model with Core i7 processors costing in the $ 1,000 range.
