Created by YouTuber ‘Mokey’, with the help of SageNine Music for the track and Harrison Fordison with the bedroom model, the CGI animation made by fans is impeccable in its presentation, as many will instantly return to those moments when they needed a whole night playlist for vibe with.
However, instead of a random variety of chillest lofi beats across the net, the video has an incredible remix of the main theme for Apex Legends.
The epic opening for Battle Royale translates perfectly into an easy-to-hear track that distinguishes itself from the original while hitting all the right notes with fans.
But even more impressive are all the waving and Easter eggs embedded throughout the frame, with Nessie dolls, a loot tick and, of course, Wraith’s kunai knife that she picks up and plays with a little bit as a study break.
Eagle-eyed fans will also see a nod to the YouTube channel’s original lofi radio ‘ChilledCow’, which can be seen on Wraith’s laptop right in front of her, flanked by the coveted charm / plush Nesper.
The entire sequence lasts just under four minutes, and Mokey spent about eight months working sporadically on the project to bring everything together for the final product.
