CORONAVIRUS VACCINE DISTRIBUTION PLANS: DISTRIBUTION STATE TO STATE
A video ad released on Thursday addresses the uncertainty that some Americans may feel about the vaccine: “You must be asking yourself, ‘Should I take it?'”
“You have questions and this is normal, the fact is that vaccines are safe and effective. They will save lives ”, says a narrator.
The ad ends with two people hugging at an airport and a girl celebrating her birthday. “Because going back to the moments we miss starts with information,” says the narrator. Viewers are then promoted to visit GetVaccineAnswers.org
Approximately 40% of the public has not yet made a decision on whether or not to be vaccinated, says the Ad Council, citing a survey by Ipsos Public Affairs.

“With the ‘It’s Up To You’ platform, we’re listening to America’s top questions, understanding their concerns and working to educate and empower people across the country – especially communities of color that have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic – so they can make an informed choice about vaccination for them and their families, “said Lisa Sherman, president and CEO of the Advertising Council, in a statement.
