The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer will have Amazon Fire TV built-in

The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will have a lot to keep passengers entertained during long journeys. They will be the first vehicles to be integrated into the infotainment system.

Passengers will be able to watch movies and programs, play games, use apps and access Alexa on the road through Fire TV for Auto. They can watch programs and movies together or separately. There will be a privacy filter to prevent the driver from seeing the front passenger screen while the vehicle is in motion. When the Wagoneer is parked, drivers can access Fire TV for Auto from the main screen.

You can sync content from other Fire TV devices using an Amazon account. So you can start watching an episode of Prime Video in the car and pick up where you left off when you return home. You will have the option to download certain content for offline viewing. This can be useful if you want to save data or if you are planning to drive through an area where mobile service is difficult to find.

There are touchscreen controls, as well as a remote control that includes Alexa voice control. You can also use the Uconnect 5 system via the remote control, giving you access to the vehicle’s features, such as maps and temperature control.

“We reimagined Fire TV for automobiles with a specific experience that offers the best in entertainment, wherever you go,” said Amazon Fire TV vice president and general manager Sandeep Gupta in a statement. “With the integrated Fire TV, customers can stream their favorite shows, see if they left the lights on at home with Alexa, and take advantage of the exclusive controls of the Uconnect system.”

The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will be available in the US, Canada and Mexico this fall. Stellantis (the new name of the recently merged Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot SA) will reveal the vehicles on March 11.
