The 10 Best TV and Soundbar Deals for the Super Bowl (2021)

Super Bowl TV and soundbar offerings are not always the newest TVs on the market. Usually, retailers offer discounts on models that are more than a year old. This year is different. Due to the pandemic, many TV manufacturers have delayed their 2020 models, which means that we are just beginning to see the first deals with them.

Whether you like commercials or are an obstinate Buccaneer or Boss, here are the best deals to get before the kick-off. This is one of the best times to buy a new TV until around Thanksgiving.

If you buy something using links in our stories, we can earn a commission. This helps to support our journalism. To know more.

TV Deals

Vizio OLED TV

  • Main choice—Vizio OLED (55 inches) for $ 1,000 ($ 300 off): I was surprised by this Vizio OLED (9/10, WIRED Recommended) at its standard price, but now that it is below $ 1,000 again, I would say this is easily the best TV you can get for that money. With extremely dark black levels and beautiful highlights, it is one of the best possible ways to watch anything – football or any other type. The 65-inch model is also on sale for $ 500.
  • Hisense H8 Quantum (55 inches) for $ 479 ($ 50 off): Good, cheap TVs are getting easier and easier to find, and the best deal now is this great 55-inch model from Hisense. It’s not the most flashy TV of all time, but with Android TV, Alexa compatibility and quantum dot technology, it will still be an incredible way to watch the game.
  • LG NanoCell 80 Series (75 inch) for $ 997 ($ 300 off): You won’t be able to go to your friend’s house to watch the big screen for a while, so you might as well have a big one for you. This 75-inch LG model is the best deal at the moment, with AirPlay for iOS streaming, the company’s excellent NanoCell screen technology and its magical point-and-click remote (like a Nintendo Wii Remote for TVs) in tow.
  • LG CX OLED (55 inch) for $ 1,350 ($ 150 off): Vizio’s OLED offers the best return on your investment, but if you just want the best image, period, take a look at LG’s OLED CX (8/10, WIRED recommends). It is a little discounted and is easily among the most beautiful models I have ever seen. It also works great with state-of-the-art consoles, such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, thanks to the HDMI 2.1 ports that can handle 4K at up to 120 frames per second.
  • Samsung TU-8000 (55 inch) and HW-T650 Soundbar for $ 796 ($ 154 off): If you want to review your entire viewing situation, check out this Samsung package, which includes a fully usable 4K TV (not our favorite, but good!) Alongside a wireless soundbar and subwoofer. Just plug them in and watch them play.
  • Samsung Q70T (55 inch) for $ 798 ($ 202 off): If you’re willing to spend a little more than for the Hisense model above, take a look at this Samsung TV, which has better processing and backlighting for a better image, and has built-in Alexa, which makes app search ( or the time for upcoming games) a breeze.
